  • Choctaw Airman takes pride in Native American heritage

    “Hailto, Chahta sia Hoke,” said Master Sgt. Sarah Linthacum, the 139th Airlift Wing equal opportunity advisor. That is the greeting in the language of her heritage. Linthacum is a Choctaw Native American from Oklahoma. She enlisted in the active duty Air Force in 1999 and eight years later transferred to the National Guard.
  • Airman Spotlight: Staff Sgt. Andrew Rivera

    Staff Sgt. Andrew Rivera joined the 139th Airlift Wing in 2011 as an airfield systems specialist with the 241st Air Traffic Control Squadron. In this role, he worked with mobile air traffic control towers that enable air traffic control capabilities outside of established airstrip locations.

    Col. Barrett Golden, vice commandant of the Advanced Airlift Tactics Training Center, was named the center’s commandant during a change of command ceremony on Sept. 10, 2021 at Rosecrans Air National Guard.
