Air traffic controllers provide feedback on new tower design

Tech. Sgt. Michael Jacobs, an air traffic controller assigned to the 241st Air Traffic Control Squadron, Missouri Air National Guard, uses a virtual reality headset to observe the potential design and location of a new airport tower at Rosecrans Memorial Airport in St. Joseph, Missouri, March 24, 2022. The city of St. Joseph is creating designs for a new tower that takes into account the 139th Airlift Wing’s Northside Development Plan. Air traffic controllers were given the opportunity to observe the design and provide live feedback to the Federal Aviation Administration. The FAA provided the VR headset to St. Joseph specifically for the design phase. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Senior Master Sgt. Michael Crane)
