Barbara Timothe of the 139th Operations Group, is presented a plaque from Col. Ed Black, vice commander of the 139th Airlift Wing, to commemorate her recent naturalization as an American citizen. Timothe moved to the United States from Haiti in 2007 to study political science at Missouri Western State University. She is planning to attend law school to become an attorney and one day hopes to work for the United Nations. She became an U.S. citizen during a nationalization ceremony last December.
