Senior Airman Ashley Jenkins has had a busy enlistment since she joined the Missouri Air National Guard in 2011.

Jenkins is a services specialist with the 139th Services Flight and has taken on many additional duties during her career. Currently she is a fitness assistant, and aids in the family readiness program.

As a fitness assistant, Jenkins helps to develop and maintain the core values of airmen, making sure they are healthy and, "fit to fight." With the family readiness program, she administers the Transition Assistance Program which provides airmen who are on orders for more than 180 days the confidence they need to find a quality job when they return home through career planning and development and job search skills.

"I consider my additional duties an opportunity to succeed," said Jenkins when discussing the diversity of her career.

Her positive attitude and successful track record have been lauded by senior leadership and make her a "go-to" person when the job really needs to get done.

Jenkins is married with two children and works for the Department of Treasury as a civilian.
