In April of this year, the base level Mission Support Flight and Services Flight will merge to create the new Force Support Squadron. The new organization is the result of an ongoing Air Force-wide merger of Mission Support and Services and is expected to be completed by early 2010.

"The new squadron will help streamline deployed processes and cut costs associated with maintaining separate organizations," said Lt. Col. Connie Johnson-Cage, Mission Support Flight commander. "The transition will be seamless. The only thing you will notice is a name change."

The one thing that will not change is the dedicated people who will continue doing their best to support commanders and provide first class support to their customers.
