Maintenance Group leadership changes

1/08/2009 -- During the January drill, the 139th Maintenance Group made several changes in their leadership roles.

Lt. Col. Andy Halter has been assigned as the Maintenance Group deputy commander. Assuming command of the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron is Lt. Col. Gordon Meyer and 1st Lt. Tom Orth has taken command of the Maintenance Squadron. Major Mark Cheney has assumed the role of Maintenance Operations Flight commander.

In addition, the manning document increases the number of maintenance officers from six to nine. Currently a traditional maintenance officer position is open for anyone wanting to apply.
