Virtual drills continue as your Resiliency Team stays fully functional and is available in every capacity in support of the 139th. I will continue this week with my Zoom sessions to include an approved AF briefing in a condensed form during the first hour on Thursday. Watch your email for this week’s topic. Enjoy the following items and contact me if you have any questions.

New Items:

I. Requesting a credit freeze - I strongly recommend that unless you are already in the market to borrow money for a major purchase, go to the effort of requesting a credit freeze (not a lock) on your credit reports. Call all three agencies which will prevent anyone from opening a bogus account under your information. I have listed the links below for your use. This will close the front door, but additionally, contact your bank and credit union accounts and have those frozen also. This extra step will help prevent someone opening an account. Use the PDF link below to identify check and bank screening companies that your bank might use.

II. News You Can Use – Check out this website for a bunch of useful news both COVID-19 related and not.

III. Reminder – In addition to the credit-controlling tidbits above, don’t forget that 1) You can get free credit reports weekly from all 3 agencies until sometime next year. I really think it is helpful (and will fill some of your downtime, lol!) to use this benefit to stay on top of your credit standings; And 2) I have the ability to obtain your 3 FICO scores for FREE without any strings attached. I can do this virtually so give me a call and we can get it done (technology cooperating of course!) within 30 minutes probably.

Things are starting to turn the corner sounds like!
