Below is some additional information related to COVID-19 exemptions and/or extensions. Generally, anything announced at the Federal level is being mirrored by the states, but I encourage you to specifically research any questions you have with the appropriate agency. If you have trouble, contact me, I am available Monday-Friday from 0730 to 1630 during this crisis by phone, email or text. By next week I plan on posting on the Wing website standing dates of virtual classrooms when I will be available for assistance or to answer questions. This will also be available for individual/couple meetings through Zoom or FaceTime. Stay safe, socially distant and healthy!

I. Federal and State Tax Filing Extensions (Car tags, others)
Missouri ----- Kansas ----- Federal

II. 2019 IRA Extensions – Please note in the Federal link above, Question #17 relates to the ability to still fund a 2019 IRA (Traditional or Roth) before July 15th. I am researching whether or not people that have already filed can file an amended return to claim an IRA contribution if they didn’t in their original filing.

(If your bank is not listed, call to seek their participation)

IV. As an additional reminder, be aware the scammers are actively using the COVID-19 scare to try and take financial advantage of people. You should already have seen this Adobe file forwarded by our Wing leadership, but I include it here again to make sure it is available. Be informed and careful!

If you need help with any of these or anything else, contact me so I can help!
